Behind-the-scenes, Utami has been involved in a variety of projects for various clients, such as Indaba Media, Converse Rubber Tracks, and others.
Utami makes "audio-video tools for you to play with", so the branding needed an overall playful, toylike aesthetic... without seeming too childlike. A decision was made to give all banners and thumbnails a not-quite-black background, contrasted by bright, neon and/or pastel colors for all type and icons. Instead of static icons for the products, we went for short, looping animations. This adds to the playfulness that the brand wants to exude.
